Our Dogs
All our dogs are happy, healthy and love life. They are the centre of attention and want to share their love for you. They are great family dogs and want to be with you all the time no matter what you are doing.
Our breeding bitches are DNA Health Tested by our Vet to make sure they are suitable for breeding. Our Cocker Spaniels are tested for prcd-PRA, FN, AMS, GBM, (MTC) D, DM (EXON 2), HUU, & MH and our Golden Retrievers are tested for GR-PRA 1 & 2, prcd-PRA, ICT-A, MD, MH, DM, HUU, NCL and they are also Hip & Elbow Scored.
Our Stud Dog Poodles are DNA Tested by our Vet for prcd-PRA, LOPRA, vWD Type1, NE, MTC-D, HUU, MH & DM
The Cockapoo which is a cross between a Cocker Spaniel and a Miniature / Toy Poodle has been around for a long time and dates back to the 1960s, so there is a long history associated with the Cockapoo. It is a fun-loving little dog with a great personality and loves being around people. They are intelligent and learn very quickly.
You will never feel alone as your Cockapoo will always be with you wherever you are whether it is running around playing or cuddling up on the sofa. The Cockapoo also make great therapy dogs because of their love of people. This is why the Cockapoo is one of Britain’s most popular dogs.
The Cockapoo is such a beautiful little dog, they show affection to everybody they meet. They are an ideal size to allow lots of cuddles, but they are also big enough to play with bigger dogs if they want to. They’re infectious love for life can’t help but make the people around them happy.
The Cockapoo coats should be low to non-shedding which may be suitable for allergy suffers but again this would depend on the individual and their particular allergies.
The Miniature Goldendoodle’s are a cross between a Golden Retriever and a Miniature Poodle. Goldendoodle’s are reportedly to have originated in Australia and North America in the 1990s and were bred to create a guide dog that was suitable for people with allergies by combining the gentleness and trainability of the Golden Retriever with the low shedding hypoallergenic coat of the poodle.
The Goldendoodle is extremely friendly, affectionate with loads of charisma. They love being the centre of attention and getting cuddles and kisses. Because of their friendly nature they are great with children as long as the children and the dog are taught to respect each other. Goldendoodles are also very intelligent and have an eagerness to please which makes easy to train if you put the work in.
